Excellent service and accommodation already booked same again for next year.
We booked Mawr cottage very last minute, for a family Easter break, and we certainly struck gold! The cottage is located on an old remote sheep farm, the surrounding scenery is breath-taking, and it is so quiet. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed, very clean and spacious, the photos do not do it justice at all. It is well equipped with all you want, with plenty of space, a nice open plan living area and good sized bedrooms. The owner was very welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay, which we did, and we would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to escape the rat race.
Service rating : Super accommodation with everything you need. A big thank you to the owner Mary for the lovely sponge cake, friendly service. Also a big apology from us for the damage we caused to a low block wall.
So peaceful and just in the right location for our purposes.

Product : the photos don't do it justice as the rooms were a lot bigger than they appeared. the welcome pack was the best we have had and would love to go back some time.
Thank you for very informative response and Mawr Cottage is on list for arranging new photos so I will hurry this along. Look forward to welcoming you back.
North of Brecon there are less dramatic - but far prettier - hills, lush valleys and forests. The two main towns in the area are Builth Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells (which claims to be the smallest town in Britain). Both are old spa towns, with a rich history and impressive architecture. We've got a selection of holiday cottages in the towns and in the pretty villages and countryside nearby.
