This remote 17th century Welsh longhouse has been superbly converted retaining the original ancient beams and with stone flag floors; this gorgeous remote holiday cottage is in a beautiful location with extraordinary panoramic views (over 50 miles). The house is reached down an unmade ancient drover's road through woodlands, crossing a ford, and is set in over an acre of woodlands and grounds for visitors to enjoy. This is the most peaceful tranquil spot with fantastic views of the Black Mountain (the Western edge of the National Park designated as a World Heritage Geo Park and now part of The Dark Sky status of The Brecon Beacons National Park) making it the best house for stargazing. Excellent walks straight from the cottage and there is a wealth of wildlife and many birds to be seen, including a pair of red kites that nest nearby. So secluded and peaceful the nearest neighbours are almost a mile away.
