    • I stayed here whilst visiting a friend in Talgarth. Booking was easy and the owner friendly and helpful when I phoned to confirm arrangements. The cottage is well equipped and contains everything you need for a short stay. The living room has a lovely wood burning stove, which we lit one evening even though it was June! Leading from this room is a small courtyard complete with garden table and a barbecue. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is just as comfortable with a large double bedroom and a smaller room with twin beds. The cottage is situated about a two minutes' walk from the centre of Talgarth and a well-equipped Co-op which contains a Post Office and cash machine. The village also has a butchers and a paper shop. There is also a fish and chip shop and a very good Chinese takeaway which open 3 days a week. The main attraction is the Watermill with its attached cafe that serves very good lunches.
