Escape to this romantic cottage for two, tucked away in a picturesque location, near Pennorth, and set within the grounds of the owner’s property. Drive 2.5 miles to Llangorse Lake, with its opportunities for water sports and outdoor activities. Take a contented canine with you and set his tail wagging with long walks straight from home. Return to the cottage to light the wood burner and bask in its glow or to sit out on the balcony or in the garden as the sun goes down.

Open the front door to this pretty cottage and step into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Throw open the French doors on warm, summer days. Fire up the wood burner when it’s chilly and settle down in front of the TV. Wander through to the kitchen area at mealtimes to find it has an electric cooker with induction hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Dine together at the table or outside in the fresh air. Find the shower room at ground-floor level and the bedroom, with its king-size bed, on the floor above. Discover this enchanting room, with its sloping ceiling, benefits from a door on to the balcony. Take your cup of tea out here in the morning. Spend time out in the lawned garden, where you can enjoy a few pages of your book as you soak up the sunshine on the bench.

Explore the Brecon Beacons from your location right on the edge of the national park. Walk for either 1 or 3 miles, depending on your energy levels, for refreshment in a country pub. A beautiful little cottage away from the hussle & bussle of everyday life. Everything was well thought out and good quality. Clean, cute and very cosy, even though in August we didn't need to use the log burner!

A lovely welcoming cottage, equipped to a high standard. A real bonus having both a washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen. Beautiful garden which we had access to, so many birds to watch and daily visits from a squirrel. Great base for exploring and a nice pub only a short walk away up through the lanes.
