Sam's cottage is an 18th century little townhouse close to the centre of the bustling market town of Crickhowell; just a stone's throw away from the local pubs, restaurants and shops and a short distance from the lovely walks over Bullpit Meadows, the water meadows that run alongside the River Usk with views over the Llangattock Escarpment and Crug Hywel mountain. The cottage is deceptively spacious and has been recently renovated to a high standard with stylish new furnishings and plenty of home comforts whilst still retaining period features in line with listed building status in the oldest street in Crickhowell.

Customer Comments

  • We wanted to express our complete and utter satisfaction in Sam's cottage. The owners were a joy to liaise with - flexible and helpful. The cottage is cute and extremely well provisioned. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 big, 2 small people) and we all enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is extremely well placed for a variety of activities and although there is no parking provided we didn't find this a barrier. As usual, the booking procedure at Brecon Holiday Cottages was smooth and efficient, with minimal fuss. We appreciate all you do and will be in touch when we next require a Beacons cottage!
  • We had a lovely stay at Sam's Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, lovely and warm, very well equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The walk books and OS maps of the area were a very useful addition. I would certainly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the Brecon Beacons, and we will book again if we return to the Crickhowell area. We haven't been to the Brecon Beacons before, but we really enjoyed out visit, especially as we had lovely weather in which to enjoy the stunning scenery. We'd like to return, maybe exploring a different part of the national park. Your booking process was seamless and the instructions and directions arrived promptly and were very clear. Many thanks for a great service!
  • The cottage had everything we could think of and was beautifully clean. Please pass on our thanks to the owners. We had a lovely time.
