We were absolutely delighted with the cottage - it's in a stunning location, well-presented, clean and homely inside, and there were absolutely no problems. If anything the description online undersold how peaceful and isolated (in a good way) it is. The owner was wonderful. She popped round on the second day with cakes, and her husband stopped by later in the week to say hello. They were both really friendly, helpful, and basically nothing was too much trouble. We're just checking diaries for next Christmas, but there's every likelihood we'll rebook and go back again!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Greengage cottage. The cottage was clean and cosy with lovely views of the surrounding country side. There were plenty of walks from the cottage. The owners had left a nice home baked cake for our arrival it was very enjoyable. The owners called on us a couple of days after our arrival to check all was well. We will certainly be booking the cottage again. I found the staff very helpful when making my booking, always polite and friendly.
We had a wonderful time in Greengage cottage. The cottage was lovely. Very clean and had everything we needed inside. The scenery was breath-taking and we had many lovely walks straight from the doorstep. We met the owners a few times and were very friendly were everyone we met in the village and at the pub. We look forward to returning soon.
