A comfortable and quiet bungalow in a village location to sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. This is an ideal cottage if you want to wander down to the village in the evening for a meal or a drink or just talk and walk along the canal, River Usk and enjoy its peace and tranquillity. There are two friendly pubs in the village of Llangynidr, The Red Lion and The Coach and Horses, both offering excellent local home cooked food and play areas for children. Great walks up onto the hills from the village or down to The River Usk and along the canal which goes through the village. Easy to explore the Welsh Valleys with a stunning drive over the mountain with the most wonderful panoramic views.
Bungalow Accommodation - Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Well equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs, an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge/freezer. Ample work and storage space with a walk-in pantry.
There is a long spacious sitting room with sofa and comfortable chairs, a TV with freeview, DVD/CD player, radio and a good selection of books about the area.
Bedroom 1: Originally the front room of the old Post Office, and now a spacious double bedroom yet to add character still retaining the original Post Office Counter.
A separate shower room, toilet, handbasin and this is where the washing machine is housed.

Crickhowell is the 2018 winner of the best British High Street, and rightly so. It's a wonderful town to visit, with a strong community spirit, almost entirely independent (and excellent) shops, really good pubs and restaurants and award winning cafes. The bustling high street runs down to the idyllic river, with and the majestic Llangattock Escarpment on the other bank. It's easy to get to, it has the Black Mountains to the East and the Brecon Beacons to the West, and it's steeped in history with its castle and the neighbouring Tretower Court and Castle.
