This superbly situated stylish barn conversion set right in the middle of the Black Mountains is ideally suited for anyone whether it's for a lazy and relaxing holiday or a more active break. The working family farm covers 100 acres with sheep and livery. There are walks right from the door into the Black Mountains and the Llangorse/Bwlch Hills. The farm is approximately 6 miles from Crickhowell and 6 miles from Talgarth, close to the village of Cwmdu .
A tumbling river runs through the farm under a small picturesque bridge; lovely to sit and dream watching the Kingfishers and Dippers flashing by. Not only picturesque, this river and the run off from the local hills drives a turbine providing the electricity for all the buildings on site. This together with a bio mass boiler providing hot water and heating makes this property carbon neutral.

Crickhowell is the 2018 winner of the best British High Street, and rightly so. It's a wonderful town to visit, with a strong community spirit, almost entirely independent (and excellent) shops, really good pubs and restaurants and award winning cafes. The bustling high street runs down to the idyllic river, with and the majestic Llangattock Escarpment on the other bank. It's easy to get to, it has the Black Mountains to the East and the Brecon Beacons to the West, and it's steeped in history with its castle and the neighbouring Tretower Court and Castle.
