This superbly situated stylish barn conversion situated right in the middle of the Black Mountains and is ideally suited for those who want either a lazy relaxing holiday or a more active break. The working family farm covers 100 acres with sheep and livery. There are walks into the hills right from the door into the Black Mountains and the Llangorse/Bwlch Hills. The farm is approximately 6 miles from Crickhowell and 6 miles from Talgarth, close to the village of Cwmdu .
A tumbling river runs through the farm under a small picturesque bridge; lovely to sit and dream watching the Kingfishers and Dippers flashing by. Not only picturesque, this river and the run off from the local hills drives a turbine providing the electricity for all the buildings on site. This together with a bio mass boiler providing hot water and heating makes this property carbon neutral.
