Set deep in the rich countryside and offering a rugged landscape within the Brecon Beacons National Park this detached country house with spacious accommodation is just perfect for family and friends.

Enjoy sheer tranquility with your favourite people at this welcoming and luxurious cottage. Visit tourist attractions, explore the area’s plethora of walking routes, and spend quality time together in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. This remarkable home has several interesting architectural features. The rear lobby is an open corridor made with glass that offers superb views outside to the garden and countryside beyond. A snug kitted out with colourful sofas, a warming wood burner and home cinema system is a cosy space to rest your feet. Through to the rustic, well-equipped kitchen and the cooks of the group will enjoy rustling something up, while socialising with guests sat at the kitchen island or large dining table. Another lounge offers a secondary space to relax in front of an open fire. When you are ready for some well-deserved sleep, take one of the two staircases to the four bedrooms. The real jewel in the crown is a magnificent super-king-size room with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, accessed via the glass bridge. The room has a small balcony, perfect for taking some time out with a morning coffee or evening tipple. Outside is a delightful, enclosed garden. Create a meal in the pizza oven and dine alfresco on the patio while soaking up the magnificent views to the surrounding National Park. Head off on foot and explore the Brecon Beacons National Park. Climb Pen y Fan (9 miles), hike to waterfalls such as Henrhyd Falls (14.5 miles) or take a trip to the wonderful National Showcaves Centre (8 miles). Enjoy a family day out to Cantref Adventure Farm, which is 12 miles away, or visit Llangorse Lake (16 miles) for fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. If you prefer exploring shops and eating tasty food, head 10 miles to market town, Brecon.

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location with lots of walks available from the door. We spent Christmas here and were glad to have arranged a food delivery as the property is quite remote. Inside the property is well equipped and very comfortable. The views from the house are outstanding - unfortunately the same cannot be said of the weaRead morether! Hide

This is truly a marvellous house very tranquil, great place to stay, theres nothing that I could think of that was not already thought of. Theres plenty of outdoor seated areas , garden is enclosed so no issues with the dogs wondering off. The house may look old but the owner has mod cons in the house , so this was also nice . A 5 star accommodation near the Brecon National Park. A rural location with great walks on your door step. Those who have a dog will love it, has a secure garden. Make sure you walk to the old quarry and to the Welsh Rabbit / Pub next door. A perfect place just to stay in the house or garden with really good space if you want your own down time. Fabulous house in an enviable location! We booked to spend some much needed time as a family with our grown up children, 5 adults and one grandchild of 8 months. The house has all you need and has plenty of room for everyone. You are miles from the next house we cranked up the music spent lots of time in the garden, with games. Lovely property in a fantastic rural setting. We had a great stay and I highly recommend giving the pizza oven a try..pizzas were amazing and great fun making then eating them. We enjoyed some amazing dog walks (direct from the house) and lots of fun things to do in the local area.
