For a fun-filled, family-friendly retreat, call this spacious dwelling home and enjoy the private hot tub, relaxing hammocks and games room. Kick back after days spent exploring the Black Mountains and plate up sociable dinners or sneak off for a moment of peace and quiet in the cosy snug. Welcoming two of your dogs, the large garden is great for an evening stick chase.

 

Arrive at this gorgeous abode and make yourself right at home in the fantastic living space. Bright and airy, the lounge has a comfortable corner sofa so you can put your feet up and unwind in front of the TV and patio doors. The cosy snug has a second TV and is great for enjoying a moment to yourself amongst the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. With plenty of appliances to help make mealtimes a breeze and a coffee machine for those early mornings, the kitchen is a light space to cook up a storm, elect your designated chef and plate up in style at the dining room table. In the evenings, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco in the garden which boasts far-reaching views. Before heading to bed in one of five welcoming first-floor rooms, soak in the hot tub or challenge competitive guests to a game or two in the games room which houses a pool table, dartboard and table football. Take care in the bedrooms which have sloping ceilings.

 

Throw on your hiking boots, get the dogs on a lead and take to the plethora of well-trodden trails and cycling routes straight from your door. For panoramic views, make an 18-mile trip to Waun Fach, the highest of the Black Mountains, or travel 12 miles to the National Trust’s, Sugarloaf and Usk Valley.

8 of us stayed here for a friends get together - An absolutely amazing property, with loads of space, the hot tub was a real bonus. We loved the fact you can do walks straight out of the door, and having a few pubs nearby was also great. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic stay, the house is BEAUTIFUL and in an incredible location, perfectly clean, plenty of room for 10 adults, hot tub is fab as well. Claire was great before & during the stay, recommending local walks, places to visit/eat etc There was a slight issue with a water pipe during our stay (absolutely no fault of owners, just one of thRead moreose things) and both Claire & Joe were easy to contact despite it being late at night, everything was sorted ASAP, would definitely return, thankyou! A lovely, spacious house suitable for our family gathering in a wonderful location. The hot tub and games room were very well used and much appreciated. Two of our number had to work while with us and the WiFi was very good. Very comfortable bedrooms and good bathroom facilities. We enjoyed our stay enormously.

Beautiful location and very well equipped house Garden area open so if you have dogs you need a teether. Close enough to Abergavenny and Brecon for eating out / shopping etc.

Lovely location, garden has no fence so be careful with your young children & dogs but no through traffic. Clean and tidy play equipment needs updating but great internet and phone signal.
