A beautiful, characterful cottage that is very well equipped, clean, and made warm with a large wood burner. It's a large cottage, would accommodate 5 people in comfort. We really appreciated the garden that was large, properly enclosed (dog secure), and full of views and interest for us and the dog. This is a lovely cottage for any time of year.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back in the future. The house was clean, cosy and comfortable. Listening to the brook bubbling away was so calming. The host was especially helpful when we accidentally left something at the house after checkout and very kindly dropped it to a nearby relative of ours for us. 10/10.

We had a really nice time at this lovely little cottage. We have a nervous dog so knowing that the garden was secure allowed us to relax from that point of view. Location is a quiet village but lots of places to visit within a short drive. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. All in all we had a lovely few days here.

I have marked down the location just because of my personal preference, it was just too quiet for me. The nearby pub was closed down and we didn't want to walk to Hay at night. The cottage was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. We couldn't use the garden as it was overgrown and the long grass was wet. Maybe better weather would have helped.
