A substantial and immaculately restored Grade 2 Victorian holiday house, dating from 1894 in the small market town of Brecon, comfortably sleeping 10 visitors.   Large and welcoming, perfect for getting together with friends and on the edge of Brecon near the glorious mountains, a dramatic playground for outdoor activities and great base centrally located, for exploring the Brecon Beacons' many attractions.

Accommodation: Sleeps 10 - 5 Bedrooms

A spacious, newly fitted kitchen with a large gas range cooker, double oven and 5 gas ring hob. A microwave, fridge with a separate freezer, dishwasher, a Tassimo coffee maker, and lovely new crockery and kitchen equipment with plenty of storage and working space.

A couple of steps down to the dining area which has a dining table and chairs with sliding glass doors leading out to the courtyard and with views down the garden.

A utility room with washing machine, a tumble dryer and a downstairs shower room and toilet.

There is a back door which is ideal for visitors who have perhaps been out on mountain bikes or for a muddy walk who may perhaps want to just jump in the shower to wash off before going into the main house with its cream carpets.

There are two drawing rooms divided by opening glass doors - both rooms are elegant with lovely sofas and chairs and cream wool carpets; each room has a fine Victorian fireplace now fitted with gas fires. There are TV's with basic Sky Freesat and DVD's. There is a spacious large entrance hall.

There is a lovely long well cared for garden with a lawn and a workshop and garden shed which is safe for storing mountain bikes etc. A well lit garden path leads up to the back of the house and there is also a side passage with a side door out to the front of the property.

This is a beautiful family house ideal for a quiet family get together and a visit to Brecon. Only a five minute walk to the centre of this small and attractive market town with several good restaurants and places to eat. The River Usk and Brecon and Monmouth Canal are a stroll away as is The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum with the memorabilia from Rorkes Drift.
