A fabulous and very spacious farmhouse that will comfortably sleep up to 22 guests in 9 bedrooms really good value at on average £14.00 per person per night.

A large friendly kitchen - great for cooking a special meal and a dining room, so perfect for a family party or group of friends having a get to-gether.  There is masses of room outside for children to play with a great wild play area that has a trampolene, rope swings and a wendy house. There is also a Games Barn with Table Tennis and Table Football.

A cycle route passes the door and there are fabulous views over the wooded river valley and surrounding hills with abundant wildlife including otters, deer and red kites. The farm is no longer a working farm but retains the original threshing barn, stables and hayloft. Cottage Accommodation:

Sleeps 22  - 9 Bedrooms 1 Kingsize, 3 Double, 2 Twin, 1 Family, 8 Single

The spacious kitchen is very well equipped with a "Redfyre" four-oven oil-fired range with four burner gas hob set in a traditional fire surround, large fridge, microwave, large freezer, dishwasher, kitchen table and chairs seating eight. There is an attractive freestanding central island with a slate work surface and an overhead hanging pan rack. Double ceramic sink with wooden worktop, large cooking utensils making cooking for twenty people easy.

Dining Room with two long dining tables and chairs to seat 22 people

Comfortable sitting room has Freeview TV, DVD and video, a large inglenook fireplace with bread oven and woodburning stove, attractive original beamed ceiling, lovely oak window seat and exposed stone walls, a door leads out into the garden and a conservatory alongside one wall of the cottage.

Ground floor cloakroom: With handbasin and toilet, utility/boot room with washing machine and dryer.

Bedroom 1:  Ensuite master bedroom with a wealth of exposed roof beams, trusses, timber balustrades and a large king size bed, cot and a single bed.

Bathroom: With bath, separate shower, handbasin and toilet.

From the dining room there are steps through to a converted barn. Well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a conservatory, which can be used as a drying room for muddy boots and wet weather gear.

A second long and spacious sitting/dining room with two large sofas and several arm chairs, warm colours, powerful woodburning stove, attractive prints and pictures, dining table and chairs, Freeview TV and DVD player.

On the ground floor a door with a couple of steps leads up into the adjoining farmhouse dining room.

This is great for families with children with a large open space and garden with a wendy house, games barn with table tennis and table football and a trampoline plus two rope swings. The garden is not be fully enclosed, but it is spacious and very few cars use the road, so the garden is good for kids to play in.

    Llwynin dates from around 1620 and is a spacious period farmhouse with interconnecting barn conversion totalling in all 1500 square meters. It's big but very cosy, with two good-sized sitting rooms. The extensive property has a wealth of charm and character and is constructed from traditional stone and oak cruck beams.  

    Location

    It is situated around one mile outside the hamlet of Crai which is at the upper end of the Swansea Valley near Sennybridge and Defynnog which have the closest inns offering food, village shops and garages. It is a secluded location with lovely views over the valley. Walking or mountain biking directly from the door onto the hill via a drovers-way leading from the house up and over to the stunningly beautiful Heol Senni Valley. The Farm is in the centre of the Beacons National Park, with Pen-y-Fan, the Beacons and the National Park Visitor Centre 6 miles East; the Black Mountain 10 miles west. Brecon 12 miles. Several trout fishing reservoirs are nearby and cycle hire. Swansea is 27 miles and beyond it are the lovely beaches of the Gower Peninsular including Rhossili, famous for its Atlantic surf.

    Crai 1 mile, Sennybridge and Defynnog 3 miles, with nearest shops and pubs. Brecon 12 miles.
