A lovely converted Coach House alongside the owners' property a beautifully restored  Old Rectory in the midst of the Brecon Beacons. This is where the Rector used to keep his carriage before travelling around the parish to meet his parishioners. The Carriage house has been completely renovated, refurnished and decorated making it a very pleasant, comfortable and private cottage for two people to spend an enjoyable holiday with a garden and ample parking. There are walks from the door and at the bottom of the lane is Brecon Gaer Roman Fort dating from 75AD set beautifully above the River Usk - the corner turrets can still be seen. Up behind the cottage are walks over Aberyscir Hill and the over to the Eppynt - again brilliant for mountain bikers.

    Customer Comments

    • We very much enjoyed our stay and will certainly look to book the cottage again with you in the future.
    • We have very much enjoyed our week at the Coach House in Aberyscir near Brecon. The location was very good being near to Brecon for shopping etc. and in a very scenic place. The accommodation was excellent with everything we needed and more. The owners were very welcoming and helpful especially with advice about places to go and how to get the best out of the area. We found the Brecon Holiday Cottages website was very easy to use in locating information about the various cottages, and actually booking and paying. We appreciated having insurance built into the price as on other similar holidays we have had to organise this ourselves. We would certainly use your organisation again to book a holiday in the Beacons.
