Located on one of the highest farms in the Brecon Beacons, this super barn conversion has stunning views, and with footpaths leading directly to Pen-y-fan, Corn Ddu and Cribyn, it’s a real hillwalkers’ paradise
Find your inner calm among the woodlands, waterfalls, streams and grazing sheep of this working farm, 4 miles from Brecon. Sleeping 12+2 people, it’s ideal for a large family gathering, friends’ reunion or adventure holiday – and there’s even space for others to pitch a tent in the grounds if you want to invite extra guests along. In the colder months, warm your hands in front of a crackling open fire or, in summer, dine alfresco in the outdoor seating area enjoying the mesmerising views down the valley towards Brecon.
Features of the original barn are all around the property, including great oak beams and exposed stonework. The long refectory dining table has enough room for everyone to sit down together for a celebratory meal prepared in the stone-tiled kitchen. Steps lead down to a wonderful flag-stoned area where a semi-circular oak bench curves around a large stone open fire. Up a few steps, the main living area is a comfortable place to relax with a movie or good book in front of the wood burner. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, two doubles sharing one Jack & Jill shower room and a twin with en-suite shower room. The fourth bedroom, with six single pine beds, sits on the mezzanine level overlooking the living space. On this same floor you will find a spacious bathroom with sloping ceilings.
In Brecon, discover unique shops, pubs and restaurants, see the remains of Brecon's medieval walls or enjoy a boat trip on the canal. Large groups can even book a private cruise.
