Located on the owner’s farm, plenty of walks lie on the doorstep, while the foodie favourite of Ludlow (24 miles) and the literary mecca of Hay-on-Wye (10 miles) are easily accessible by car. At the end of busy days, return to this artistically styled house for a cosy night in beside the wood burner or an al fresco meal of freshly picked produce from the herb and vegetable garden.

Inside, this period cottage has been tastefully modernised using neutral tones with splashes of warm and vibrant colour. The delightful kitchen is fitted with everything you could need for rustling up tasty family meals. Beyond the original stabling stall dividers is an inviting lounge/dining area, complete with a biomass wood pellet burner for cosy evenings. A little further afield, Offa’s Dyke Path (20 miles) promises wonderful walking opportunities, while the Wye Valley (22.5 miles) is home to ancient woodland, a meandering river, varied wildlife and several historic points of interest.
