Leave the grocery shopping for another day - The owners of Hatterall View Cottage realise that going on a self-catering holiday can mean a big grocery shop on top of a long journey. Contents include staples like tea, coffee, milk and cornflakes, whilst the luxury pack allows you to prepare a full cooked breakfast on your first morning. Please discuss your needs when you make your booking.

Sarah, the owner of this cottage was the first British female ever to earn a place on the GB Olympic shooting team and represented her country in Athens in 2004. On discussion Sarah would be happy to take enthusiasts to the local Clay Pigeon Club for a little tuition.
Abergavenny is only 7 miles with the railway station - so this could be a place for visitors with no car as there is a very good taxi service as the owners are very happy to do a grocery shop for you. Also it is an easy drive to Hereford only 12 miles - so just a quick drive to perhaps visit The Cathedral and The Mappa Mundi.

We stayed at Hatterall View Holiday Cottage in Pandy. It was just perfect. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully presented. We had absolutely everything that we needed. The view was breath-taking. Nothing could have been better. The owner, was unobtrusive unless we needed her. She was charming and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
In reply to tell you that the cottage was perfect for our needs. It was fitted out to a very high standard and fully equipped, it was very clean on arrival and comfortable. The location was ideal as we were on a walking break in the hills and we were made very welcome on arrival. The situation of the cottage is such that it is very private and very peaceful. As this is an example of your Brecon Holiday Cottages we will contact you again in the future.
We have just enjoyed a perfect week staying at Hatterall View Cottage. Our host was very welcoming and there if we needed her (we didn't see her until we handed the key back, there weren't any problems so we were able to have a quiet relaxing holiday). The cottage has everything one would need for a stay, there was also a welcoming tray with tea, coffee and Welsh Cakes, in the fridge was a bottle of milk. Views from the cottage were stunning. Pandy is ideally situated for exploring the Brecon Beacons and also Herefordshire. There are numerous walks available either from the cottage or a short drive from the cottage. Brecon is not too far away and a walk or cycle ride along the Brecon and Monmouth Canal is very rewarding. We would certainly recommend this property and hope to visit again. A few years ago we had a couple of visits to Cantref Coach House which is another delightful property.
Spectacular mountain scenery, a bustling market town and foods galore – Abergavenny has all the ingredients for a great holiday. We've got forty wonderful holiday cottages in Abergavenny and in the beautiful surrounding villages and countryside.
