About Clare's Cottage
Clare's Cottage is pretty it is a "picture-book" cottage in lovely setting with meadows with grazing sheep and cattle. This delightfully converted cottage is over 100 years old and has retained its olde worlde feel. It is set in the grounds of the owner's house nearby with lovely views and very close to the Sugar Loaf Mountain and Skirrid Mountain - walk up The Skirrid before breakfast! With several excellent gastro-pubs and restaurants within an easy drive and the famous Walnut Tree Restaurant is in walking distance. Clare's Cottage is very well furnished and decorated and is always popular with returning visitors - it is only about 3 miles from the market town of Abergavenny so perfect for events such as The Abergavenny Food Festival and many cycling events. Clare's Cottage is in an ideal position for a peaceful and relaxing holiday with walking, golf and many other country pursuits on the doorstep.
Sleeps 2, plus cot, 1 bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with ample work and storage space, a gas hob and electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Spacious very pretty sitting/dining room with dining table and chairs, comfortable sofas, TV, DVD and radio.
Bedroom 1: a double bed and an en suite bathroom with bath, handbasin, shower and toilet.

We enjoyed our stay in the Brecon area immensely. Such a very scenic, relaxing and friendly area. Clare's Cottage was absolutely lovely. A very cosy and comfortable home base from which to explore the area. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend it.
