Explore the heart of the Brecon Beacons by heading to the Taff Trail, which passes next to this magnificent converted barn. There are three pubs less than 1 mile from here, where you will be pleased with the selection of food available. Just 2 miles of flat walking along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal Path will take guests to the popular town of Brecon, an ideal place for a day out with its tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants and independent shops. Cantref Adventure Farm is the perfect place to take the children and is just 1 mile away.

This beautifully converted and very large property features many original beams and retained stone cart arches. Downstairs is a spacious living room with comfortable leather sofas and a wood burner, ideal for gathering as a group for a cosy evening in. There is also a smaller, snug area with sofa and chairs and a dining room with seating for 12 guests. The kitchen is fitted with a large double oven and hob 2 fridges. Head through to the utility room and guests will find a washing machine and a downstairs WC. There are three bedrooms downstairs: one king-size with en-suite shower room, one double with en-suite shower room and a single room. A family bathroom completes the downstairs area. Upstairs are a further three bedrooms, two double rooms, one with en-suite, and a family room which contains a double bed and bunk beds with an en-suite.

To the rear of the house is an enclosed garden with a large lawn area, perfect for the children to play on. There is also garden furniture and a BBQ for enjoying the summer evenings. The garden has fantastic views over the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan. There is ample parking for several cars to the front of the property.

Perfect location to so many Beautiful places. The four waterfalls was just one of many favourites. We had just the one meal out at the three horseshoes, absolutely delicious food and great service definitely recommend a visit

Derek, the owner, was very attentive and responsive. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped kitchen , plenty of hot water, secure garden. Having the paddock behind the cottage was a bonus and the horses provided much interest and entertainment for us all, particularly our granddaughter! The location of the cottage was also ideal, just outside BrecRead moreon in a lovely rural setting. It was easy to walk along the canal path into Brecon, and the locks provided plenty of interest. We had a lovely week here with our 3 generation family of 11 plus a dog. The accommodation was ideal with its very large lounge and dining room that both took all of us easily, plus a large garden. What an absolutely fantastic weekend we had. Such a lovely property in a location money cant buy. The views are just breathtaking. So much space inside the property and very comfy. The horses in the next field were a real bonus and we enjoyed watching (and talking to) them. We are at the Three Horseshoes and had the best Sunday diner we have ever hRead moread. 6 bedrooms, 4 ensuites plus family bathroom, large kitchen and utility with further toilet, very large dining room with table(s) that easily sit 12 people, and a lounge that comfortably sat us all. Loads of space for 8 adults, 3 small children and a dog. We had a great time!

The cottage and its location were stunning and perfect for our large family. Views are spectacular and situated within minutes of the river and canal. We will definitely be going back . We will treasure the memories we made there forever.

We stay here for a long weekend for our annual college reunion. It was very comfortable and well equipped and a perfect setting. The owner was very helpful and on hand to help with our questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this spot.

12 of us, 4 children and 8 adults, stayed at Ty Cerrig granary for a week. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped. We found the lounge really large and comfy, with plenty of seating. Dining table is huge. The oven and hob work well, and the utility room was warm from the boiler so useful for drying Read moredamp clothes. The children enjoyed the garden. We all loved the horses. Hide

The perfect place for a three generation family holiday: loads of indoor space with clear surfaces and a big, enclosed garden looking onto a paddock with mares and foals. We had a great week at Ty Cerrig Granary. Plenty of space for all our familywe were very comfortable. Walks along the canal into Brecon suited all ages with a stop off at the theatre coffee shop where the millionaire shortbread was voted the best ever!! Plenty of places to visit nearby.

Lovely large accommodation, great for a three generation family holiday including a dog. Enclosed outside garden was a real bonus for dog and children. Plenty of parking too. Well equipped kitchen.
