Set in the centre of the Georgian town of Brecon, this detached three-storey holiday home is a luxurious choice for large families or group getaways. Enjoy the games room, home gym, spacious garden and sunny conservatory, and not forgetting - if you bring canine companions - the handy dog shower.

Leave your coats and shoes in the spacious lobby and, for mucky pups, this is the place to give them a wash in the dedicated shower. The stunning kitchen/diner boasts excellent cooking facilities, plus a TV, breakfast bar and dining table for eight. Relax in the conservatory, the huge lounge with its U-shaped sofa and Smart TV or - on the second floor - the snug/games room, which boasts a TV, DVD and PlayStation, as well as books and board games. At bedtime, you’ll find three bedrooms on the first floor: a super-king-size (twin on request) with an en-suite shower room, a king-size with a dressing area and a Smart TV, and a twin room with garden views. There’s also a family bathroom. Finally, on the top floor there’s a double bedroom and a bathroom. Stroll over to the detached gym and you’ll find a full range of weights and fitness equipment. For relaxing over a meal in the enclosed garden there’s comfortable outdoor furniture as well as a BBQ and a fire pit.

In Brecon you’ll find narrow streets packed with intriguing shops and a variety of places to eat and drink. Stroll along Captain’s Walk and admire the remains of the town’s medieval walls, or take a boat trip along the historic canal. Get outdoors in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park or explore the spectacular castles dotted nearby, including Brecon, 0.5 miles, Crickhowell, 14 miles and Abergavenny, 20.5 miles. The National Showcaves Centre is just 19 miles.

A beautiful house in a great location - having the path up to the Slwch Tump just opposite the house was fantastic for the dog - & the owners! Such wonderful views! The house is really well equipped - for humans & canines; so many little extras. Thank you for such thoughtfulness. I'm sure we'll be back!

This house is beautifully kept and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The gym and games room are an added bonus, plus the dog enjoyed the treats and ball left for her. The town of Brecon is a short walk away and offers lovely walks and individual shops.

The property was clean on arrival and large and comfortable for a party of 6 with 2 dogs. Centrally located a short walk from Brecon The dog shower was a great addition. I didn't think that we would use it but the weather wasn't the best in true Wales fashion and it was a great facility in the end. Kitchen is very well stocked and the owners even iRead morenclude cleaning products for you to use. Nice hamper upon arrival with treats for the dogs Large garden Excellent sun room with views Hide
