This beautiful apartment, formally the old chemist, enjoys an ideal location within the heart of Sennybridge, the largest of the villages within the Upper Usk Valley. It’s tucked between the Mynydd Epynt and the Carmarthen Fans and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it a perfect destination for a couple looking for a relaxing or active holiday.

An elegant split-level property that is welcoming and invites you to leave your cares at the door and simply relax into a superior stay. Step from the high street into a spacious entrance hall where you can leave walking boots and coats behind, and marvel at the high ceilings that showcase the solid oak stairwell featuring a beautiful chandelier. Enter the delightful lounge that offers plenty of natural light from two large picture windows and the original doors. The California shutters match the elegant interior furnishing and decor of this room. Take time to relax in the comfortable seating in front of a Smart TV and snuggle up with the wood burner lit on chilly nights. Opposite the entrance hall, climb the three stairs to the generously sized and fully equipped kitchen/diner finished with contemporary styling and soft lighting to create the perfect space for a romantic supper. The quirky shower room was formally the chemist’s medicine preparation room. An oak staircase leads down to a double bedroom, a lovely sanctuary for couples with a touch of luxury including dressing gowns, slippers, and soft Egyptian cotton sheets that will help you to have a perfect night’s sleep.

Explore the impressive National Showcaves for Wales at Dan yr Ogof (10 miles) and discover the underground waterfalls of Cathedral Cave. Spend the day walking ‘Waterfall Country’ at Ystradfellte (13 miles) or visit Henrhyd Falls (16 miles) and hike the footpath and bridge to enjoy the spectacular cascade.
