We had a lovely time at the cabin, the Location is beautiful and so quiet even with the bird song and sheep bleating. The view from the cabin deck across the valley is breathtaking. The shower pressure is amazing, hot water straight away and plenty of it. The walk up to the top cabin is steep so be prepared, the lane to the location is challenging Read moreshall we say, very narrow that only one car can pass at a time. Would recommend for short stays. Quirky cabin, great location, beautiful view but very basic. It could be more comfortable and cleaner. Lacking in finishing touches like details of local businesses, etc. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend.

We had the best time at the woodland retreat. The location is ideal, with some amazing hikes on your doorstep. The uphill trek to hay bluff is well worth it for the views. The small woodland next to the hut is full of character. The hut has wifi and heating. The bed was super comfy and we slept well throughout the trip. Amazing position! Quite a steep hill to access, with sheep for company. Had an absolutely lovely time in the cabin. The view was perfect, the balcony to look at the view was perfect and the firepit facing the view was perfect!
