This cosy property features an earthy country interior with wooden beamed ceilings, stonework feature walls, and rustic stable doors. We had a lovely break at this cottage which is really comfortable and well-equipped. We appreciated the very generous welcome pack - especially the Easter eggs. Richard and Sara were so friendly and helpful. It was great to see the farm animals and one of the highlights of the week was bottle feeding lambs and baby goats! This cottage is on a working farm. Animals roam free which we loved, there can be the sheep or goat walking past your window. Sara and Richard are lovely very helpful. The cottage had some lovely touches flowers, fruit, tea coffee sugar really nice. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable the bed was really comfy. We loved our stay! We were very kindly welcomed by Richard. He also showed us the farm with the sheep, cows and goats. He has transformed the barn into a cottage himself; a job well done! The cottage offers everything you need to relax, from a very well-equipped kitchen, a luxurious bathroom to a nicely decorated living room. For those who want to disconnect from the world, this is an idyllic spot on a working farm. The cottage is specs to a very high standard and provided a haven of rest for myself and my wife. We love animals and enjoyed spending time being visited by goats, cows and dogs. This was exactly what we needed tucked away from the world and yet within easy Read morereach of Hay On Wye and Abergavenny. We had a very restful and relaxing week at The Steps Barn, a very recent and comfortable barn conversion. The owners, Sara and Richard are friendly and helpful.
