Soak in breath-taking views as you peddle along the highest point of the ionic Taff Trail, accessible from your doorstep, then potter through the pretty village of Talybont-on-Usk, within 300 metres, and scope out the independent eateries serving up cosmopolitan cuisine and fine wine with views of the Usk Valley. Don’t miss a visit to the glistening shores of Llangorse Lake, 9 miles, and embark on a tranquil SUP or adrenaline-fuelled water ski session.
