Enjoying meadow views within the grounds of Cwmhir Court, this converted silo is simply charming, finished with a unique design and perfect for couples wanting a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Whether you’re in search of relaxation, adventure or both, this beautiful barn has plenty to offer. Visit the Wye Valley for wild swimming and meandering walking trails, or head to the Forest of Dean to explore the ancient woodlands with all the family before returning home to snuggle up in front of the wood burner.

With underfloor heating throughout, heated by an air source heat pump, this property is wonderfully cosy all year around. As you step inside, the open-plan living space has a warming glow, with a large comfortable corner sofa where everyone can gather round to watch a film or enjoy a board games night. In the corner is a charming wood burner which makes for a perfect evening in. The other side of the living space is a chic kitchen with pastel blue cabinets and natural light pouring in through the patio doors. Here you can cook up a feast for all the family with ease before sitting down to share food together on the bench-style dining table. The first of the bedrooms is a characterful double with exposed wooden beams across the ceiling and an en-suite shower room for added privacy. There is a second double room, also retaining many of the barns original features and seamlessly blending the old with the new, as well as a twin room which is well-suited to children. Completing the property is the family shower room with a p-shaped bath for an evening soak, plus an overhead shower offering options. Outside, the enclosed garden area has a table, chairs and firepit where you can gather round in the evenings, as well as an enclosed paddock which is a great place for the dogs to stretch their legs.

With hills and woodlands surrounding the property, you needn’t travel far to find beautiful scenery and walking trails, including a circular walk starting and ending in the local village of Llandenny. 9 miles away Monmouth where you can join the Wye Valley Walk which stretches for 136 miles past rivers and hills with awe-inspiring scenery all along the route. Alternatively, if you’re a lover of watersports, head to Llandegfedd Reservoir where you can take on a number of outdoor activities such as boating, stand up paddleboarding and canoeing for a relaxing day on the water.
