This spacious property, in the heart of Carmarthenshire, sleeps 13 guests and has an open-plan layout, ideal for large get-togethers and celebrations. The property is set in 60 acres of countryside and boasts uninterrupted rural views. There is an enclosed garden, laid to lawn, where children and dogs can play. The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with walks from the front door and Crychan Forest less than 1 mile away. The property is also just 8 miles from the north-western fringe of the Brecon Beacons National Park. A warm welcome awaits you inside the impressive stone building, with wooden floors running throughout and a russet-themed decor. The vast kitchen has ample room to cook meals for the whole group, to enjoy together around the large dining table looking over the countryside. In the evening, retire to the spacious lounge, which has seating for everyone and a roaring wood burner to create a cosy atmosphere. Chat long into the night over a bottle of wine or watch a film on the Smart TV. Heading outside, discover an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio, again benefitting from far-reaching views. You’ll also find picnic benches for al fresco dining, as well as a BBQ. Crychan Forest is a brilliant place for kids (and adults!) to burn off steam, with a huge network of waymarked trails to explore on foot, bike, or horseback. There are also picturesque picnic spots dotted throughout the forest. The historic market town of Llandovery (8 miles) is well worth a visit. Full of Welsh culture and heritage, it’s a great place to pick up local crafts and produce. From here you can access the Cambrian Mountains. Often overlooked by tourists, it’s the perfect location to switch off from it all, surrounded by nature and stunning scenery.
