A pretty cottage straight from the pages of a fairy tale, this delightful property has charming views and easy access to an abundance of scenic walks from the doorstep.

Call this charming cottage home and you’ll be able to head straight from your door for adventure-filled days. A 1-mile walk to the largest natural lake in South Wales, Llangorse, this home is perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park. Spend your days exploring, head out for a refuelling bite to eat, then snuggle up by the wood burner as day turns to night.

Whether you’re inside or out, this dwelling boasts far-reaching views across the Llangorse Valley, Allt yr Esgair, Myndd Llangorse and Myndd Troed. Get dinner off to a good start in the bright, fresh kitchen where a coffee machine helps make those early morning adventures slightly easier. Adjoining the kitchen, the dining room has an extendable table so you can enjoy sociable dinners if the weather is too chilly to dine alfresco in the sheltered garden. Sneak in through the back door and leave muddy shoes in the utility room before putting your feet up on the sofa in front of the wood burner or climb a couple of steps to the conservatory and bask in the sun where you can admire the gorgeous views. The ground floor is home to the first bedroom and the family bathroom where you can soak in the tub or freshen up in the shower over bath. The remaining bedrooms and second shower room are located upstairs and have characterful sloping ceilings.

Just 3 miles from your door, the village of Bwlch is a great starting point for four circular walks, Bwlch with Altitude, Fortitude, Magnitude, and Solitude. Hop on well-trodden trails and reward yourself with a delicious bite to eat at one of the local pubs. The activity centre at Llangorse Lake is 2.5 miles away and makes for a fun-filled day.

Charming cottage, ideal for family holiday with excellent garden and lovely views. We liked having a choice of rooms which meant different activities could be enjoyed, but also ample space to cater for time spent together too. Children loved the garden. Great to see varied birdlife too, and spectacular views. Hope to return if we can.

Exactly as advertised: peaceful and very quiet location, lovely views, well-equipped, well-decorated. We had a query about the boiler system, which the owners sorted out extremely promptly and efficiently. Definitely recommend; we plan to book again.

Amazing cottage! the owners were extremely informative and helpful from the days leading up to the trip, until the moment we left. the location was perfect and a stones throw from tall john's house, which was hosting a wedding we attended. The cottage was somehow far more spacious than even the pictures let on, and had everything we needed within. Set in a very quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed watching the varied bird life in the garden and the squirrels. The Welsh Venison centre at the top of the lane did some very good local produce..
