Paddle in the sparkling waters of the River Usk (7 miles), or fish in the Usk Reservoir (19 miles). Further afield, hop on the Brecon Mountain Railway (20 miles) and trundle through magnificent rolling Welsh countryside on the most relaxing of escapes.
