Bring your camera and walking boots and prepare to take in the scenery from your doorstep, scaling the mountain or wandering down into the valley itself. The market town of Crickhowell is a short 2 miles drive away offering a plethora of independent shops, inns and interesting historical landmarks including a motte and bailey castle and a pretty walk leading to an Iron Age fort at the top of Crug Hywel.

Fabulous quiet idyllic location, lovely well equipped lodge with good sized rooms. Everything was perfect apart from the hot tub which needs to be heated by a wood burner 3 hours before use, in October we found it was only lukewarm after this time so did not use.
