Pack your bags and head to the Welsh countryside for a romantic break. This charming home has all you need, soak in the bubbling hot tub or stay dry and switch on the projector for the perfect film night. Less than a mile from the bustling Builth Wells, wander into town and grab a bite to eat or follow the River Wye for some fresh air and a stroll. Welcoming your dog too, leave no one behind on your Welsh adventure.

This humble abode is full of cosy spots to put your feet up and has a lovely outdoor space where you can dine alfresco on sunny days. The open-plan ground floor creates the hub of the home. Curl up on the sofa (which doubles up as a sofa bed), switch on the projector and lose yourself in your favourite film or throw open the doors to let the fresh air flood inside. The sleek kitchen is a great space in which to throw together meals which can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or outside on the terrace. To relax before bed, hop in the hot tub and soak under the stars, raising a tipple or two as you gaze out over rooftops and rolling hills. Climb stairs to the first floor where you can find the snug bedroom with its own Juliet balcony. Freshen up in the spacious en-suite shower room which has a contemporary feel and lovely marble-effect tiles.

Wander into the heart of the town or travel further afield to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park. A 17-mile journey south will take you to the vibrant town of Brecon. Continue on for 5 miles to reach Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, where you will be rewarded for the climb with panoramic views across the gorgeous national park.

We loved the village but felt the property was a let down, the hot tub lid/cover was torn , the tub was dirty even though the water was tested, the paintwork in the property was in need of a revamp, we banged our heads so many times on the sloping roofs, the French doors were dirty , the oven tray had bits of Brownies on them , considering you cantRead more go in til 4pm not much had been done, no cupboard space for food and the fridge small, the couple were lovely but we wouldnt return .
