Such a wonderful place to stay. Rose and Dean made us feel so welcome. The Shepherd Hut was beautiful, warm, and cosy despite the sub-zero temperatures outside! Incredible views, great amenities, just wished we had booked to stay longer. We hope to return!

The shepherd hut was the best I've ever seen . . .. wonderful to come back to after our autumn walks. Great to cook our evening meals as local offerings aren't as good as my cooking!

This is a delightful place in which to stay for peace, quiet and relaxation. The views were outstanding and along with the numerous birds on the feeders and the sheep in the field next door there was enough to sit and look at for quite a while.

The shepherd's hut is a secret gem. Beautiful location, we especially enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds feeding from the feeders and a pair of pheasants strutting around in front of us. The hut is well equipped and the hosts attention to detail makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Rose is a wonderful host, she even remembered to Read moretext a happy birthday message to my husband as we had mentioned that this was his birthday break. Highly recommended. Hide
