We stayed in the Kestrel cottage which I booked for my husbands 60th birthday and it was lovely. The only issue we had was the sofas which either needs to be replace or reupholstered to make them very comfortable. The owner, Lucy, was very attentive and welcoming. The location was superb with some amazing scenery local to the cottage

The cottage is well equipped and comfortable but the Welsh covid restrictions do make any stay more awkward because even cooker instructions are not allowed. The hot tub is great but check that you can live with the opening hours and the sharing aspects of the tub. There is an issue with cluster flies which, although harmless, did cause some of ourRead more party to become compulsive swatters. None of the above would stop us staying again and the scenery around the cottage is stunning. Hide

We had a lovely time at Ketrel cottage, six adults and two children. The cottage was clean, the hot tub was available but was a bit too hot for the children. We were disappointed in the such late check in and early check out which cut our long weekend at the cottage short.

The most wonderful cottage, spotlessly clean, well equipped and set in the most jaw dropping country side. Our host Mrs Lloyd was delightful. We have the most amazing holiday memories, would throughly recommend Kestral cottage.

See above. We did wonder if normally (in non COVID times) there are a few books or other literature on shelves for reading (eg on the local area and attractions). That said, we did not really need them ourselves.
