Lovely cottage. Well equipped (no dishwasher but we knew that!). Telly and wifi work well (when the builders haven't turned the booster off). Middle of nowhere, but lots of places to drive to. Great pub in village (2.4 miles away). Friendly and good beer. Exploring footpaths was not a success: overgrown with thorns and malevolent dogs on other farmRead mores. Hide

Lovely friendly and helpful owners. The cottage was supplied with everything needed for our holiday. The bed was amazing and the shower was pretty good too. We were supplied with start up groceries like milk sugar butter tea and coffee which was very helpful.

Ideal for the countryside lover, looking for a peaceful and comfortable quiet time. Very hospitable, helpful and friendly hosts. Lots of animals, some not often seen on a working farm.

The cottage is stunning, has gorgeous views over the valley. The outside facilities are lovely, and if youre a cyclist or horse rider, then the separate shower in the little annexe would be so useful. The owner was very approachable, and also left us in peace. Ideally placed to explore both Builth Wells and Hay on Wye.

A lovely cottage, well off the beaten track, well presented throughout. Great views and amazing scenery. Be prepared for a number of farm noises that are different - the usual sheep, cows, but there are also ducks, hens and guinea fowl!
