After getting to know local Crickhowell with its great amenities and the majestic castle ruins, head out into the rural landscapes, following the Table Top Mountain Path, or travelling slightly further afield to Sugar Loaf. Llangattock Mountain and the Agen Allwedd caves are also well worth a visit, with breathtaking views and rugged terrain. Take a gentler pace with a picnic along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, or get a permit for fishing along the River Usk.
