With cosy accommodation complete with a double-aspect wood burner and fantastic sunroom, plus a private garden with breathtaking views and a BBQ, it is ideal for family holidays. An extremely spacious, warm, comfortable cottage in an amazing location. We had a brilliant time and cannot wait to return. The owners are so welcoming and friendly too. What an amazing place.

Beautiful property in a fabulous location. There are footpaths in all directions very close by, and the views and surrounding countryside are magnificent. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the sun room.

The cottage is situated at the end of a one mile farm track.. However, once you get there it's wonderful. The farmhouse has two en-suite bedrooms for two couples. It is at the centre of four walking paths, so you can have a choice of hills, reservoirs, canals and villages. One thing that I must mention is that my wife left her handbag. Cottage is in a great location for walkers and was clean, spacious and well equipped but the dcor would benefit from a little TLC in parts. Owner was helpful and friendly as were the locals we met especially at the great village store and cafe. Recommended.

Beautiful, well-appointed and spacious cottage in a stunning and secluded location. A large number of walks are available from the door through the beautiful countryside, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We went in Summer but I imagine the night skies at other times of year would be spectacular as there is zero light pollution.

The property is in fantastic location, including a forest on the back and easy access to cycling or walking trails. The property is large, yet relatively safe for kids. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This is a delightful property in idyllic surroundings. The Farmhouse is well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of towels and good quality bed linen. There were four of us for a couple of days, so the two en-suite bathrooms made a great difference to our comfort. I would most definitely recommend this property for a peaceful and scenic stay. Home madRead moree Apple Juice, milk etc very useful on arrival - especially as the home delivery failed to show. Hide
