The cottage is lovely, in a beautiful location. There was plenty of space and good facilties for our party of 6 adults, 2 under-5s and 2 dogs. We also appreciated the caretaker's flexibility re: check-in times. The above was spoiled slightly by a few problems ranging from minor resource issues (no condiments or spare bin bags provided) through to mRead moreore serious inconveniences (fireplace was not usable, bathroom leaks). We enjoyed our stay as 2 families which included 5 children between 1 and 8 years old. The master bedroom had plenty of room for a travel cot and the cottage had a high chair for us to use. The garden is fully enclosed and overlooks a gorgeous view of the Brecon Beacons, it is ever so peaceful. We found it a great base for exploring the surroundingRead more areas, including the National show caves, local castles and Beacons themselves. Hide

Great place for a large group and had put a tree up for Christmas. Some facilities starting to look a bit worn but usable. Plenty of space, and a nice fire, comfortable sofas and lovely large table for big groups to eat at. Watch the track leading to the property as it could be difficult to drive on in bad weather, quite steep and uneven. Signs forRead more the barn are easy to miss especially in the dark. Hide

The whole family enjoyed this stay. The accommodation is spacious and well designed and adults, children and dogs were all happy. We particularly liked the outside space as it was completely enclosed and safe for children and pets. The bbq was also appreciated. The walks directly from the back gate were a huge bonus and very beautiful.
