Escape to the Welsh countryside and unwind amid exposed beams, country style and quirky features at this homely barn. If you need entertaining after days in the great outdoors, the garden games room is a top hit with competitive guests whilst the river veranda is a great place to sit on a warm evening. Sleeping eight guests over four bedrooms, bring two dogs along to this property and have a ball together with family and friends. Head inside this converted barn and enjoy dining together beneath exposed beams. Family dinners are a real treat and, with plenty of room, you can sit for hours in the kitchen/diner which has a simple country style. The kitchen area is spacious with room for more than one pair of hands to prepare meals. In the summer months, tuck into BBQs and make the most of your large, enclosed garden with a decked area, table tennis table and riverside terrace. Relax in the cosy lounge which is warmed by a wood burner and underfloor heating or challenge fellow guests in the garden games room. Quirky, original features such as lights and sewing machines add character and charm throughout. Two staircases lead to the king-size bedroom with a Jack and Jill bathroom, the bunk bedroom and two doubles. There are two pull-out beds in the garden room and off-road parking for two cars. From your fantastic location, head out to explore. Climb Llangorse Mountain, hire kayaks on Llangorse Lake (10.5 miles) or summit the highest peak in South Wales, Pen-y-Fan (21.5 miles) for views to remember. 6 miles south, picturesque Crickhowell has lots of walking routes and a bakery where you can pick up delicious treats. Lovely barn conversion with plenty of space for a large party. Attractive to families with children but youngsters would need supervision due to stream and animals. Easy access to Crickhowell and plenty of countryside to explore. Several pubs/restaurants within reach, supermarkets rather sparse but accessible in Brecon or Abergavenny. A lovely, comfortable and well-stocked holiday cottage. Great to be in the middle of a working farm with, horses and sheep. Our dog immediately decided it was a farm dog and wanted to join the very friendly farm dogs. Lovely walks and a beautiful stream, great pub in walking distance. The farm is really well positioned for access to Crickhowell/HayRead more/Brecon and all the activities at Llangorse lake. One really minor issue is that there is a bit of traffic noise but great for a family break. Hide

Clean, well equipped (inc. provisions for young children e.g. cutlery, toys, potty seat), cosy and warm, easy to find location with parking for 2-3 cars, but most importantly very welcoming host who were approachable and kind. Highly recommended for families and would stay again.

Lovely comfortable barn in a stunning area. Youngest made great use of the games room, great pub within walking distance, just a shame the weather wasn't on our side to use the Tikki Bar. Lovely stay, thank you.
