A beautiful, spotless, comfortable cottage. Amazing views. We were lucky to have sole access to a field for our dog to enjoy- she loved it especially when it snowed. We did loads including- climbed Sugarloaf mountain, walked the canal tow path and went to Barry Island. All in all we had a great time. Mr & Mrs Bishop were perfect hosts.

Great for exploring the Black mountains, with everything you need for two people. Modern, very functional and so clean. It's probably also the most dog-friendly place we have stayed. A Sheep-free field was kindly made available by the owners, who made us feel very welcome. It's handy to have a pub only a few minutes walk away, with no need to driveRead more for food and drink. It's not quite fine dining, but is good value; ignore the pub website about dining with a dog, and ring to book. Hide

Have been lucky enough to stay in quite a few holiday cottages and this one is right at the top of the list. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, stunning location and very helpful owners, without being intrusive.
