What a busy Birthday for Liz!

What a day! First stop, over to see a beautiful new little cottage (Orchard Cottage - coming soon!), which I'm sure if going to be really successful between Talybont and Builth. It belongs to one of the girls who used to work with us and is guaranteed to be beautifully furnished.

Then, back to the office for a coffee and cake. (Thank you ladies very much!), and an amazing birthday present.

Then, Antony took me to lunch in The Three Tuns in Hay, where they have a fabulous selection of gins! And some lovely Italian food. We had a sharing platter.

On to Hereford, watching the architecture change as soon as I crossed the border into England, following the Black and White Trail. I could point out numerous holiday cottages along the way, including Honeysuckle Cottage which stands out among the fields and Glanhenwye, which looked lovely in the afternoon sunshine. Hereford was bustling as normal, we took a quick visit to the Cathedral to see the Mappa Mundi, and then home to beat the traffic out of Hay.
