Another day in and out of the office!

It’s very windy, hope Tomas does not get blown off course as Ann is rushing over to Hay to take Tomas with his new lettering for the Festival to use – will be good PR for us having it buzzing around.

We then went on to collect Ann and take round some Brecon Beacons Holiday brochures and leaflets – especially Asleep in Hay to make sure visitors are aware of the lovely flat there. A quick lunch, very good soup in The Granary where Isla Hampson has hung some lovely rustic photographs – let’s hope she manages to sell some.

Last night we went over to Hay – had a quick bite to eat with Elaine at The Venison Centre stand –  and then went on to see Noah and The Whale or was it Jonah and The Ark – that was Ceri’s mistake to her utter embarrassment - anyway really enjoyed them. I had to say worried I would be the only “silver top” in the audience but there were plenty more! I did feel slightly been there done that – as my husband was a folk musician in the 60/70’s and there were certainly shades of folk, Bob Dylan, Steele Eye Span etc.

My daughter, Tamsin and Ben plan to climb Pen-y-fan tomorrow – looking for a film location – something to do with a robot climbing a hill.

Anyway I have forgotten to put my grandchildren into my social visits to Hay Festival equation “oh dear”!!!
