We think we have got some of the best mountain biking in the world, and the roads around here are brilliant for road bikers. If you're looking for a family day out, the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal is perfect for a relaxed cycle.
Many of our cottages have the accredited Cyclists Welcome Award, which means they have made a safe area for bike storage, washing and maintenance, and provide information about the many routes available across the Brecon Beacons, The Black Mountains and the Black Mountain.
Bikes and Hikes now offer 'Paddle and Pedal' days. You can hire bikes and canoes from them and they will deliver the canoes to Talybont and Pencelli to link up with your cycle route, so you can spend a day partly on the stunning trails, tow path and quiet roads, and partly canoeing along the canal.
