Transport

Both town offers good local bus services.  The nearest train stations are at Abergavenny, Newport and Chepstow.  For up to date information, have a look at Traveline Cymru. There are also plenty of local taxi firms that will be happy to help you reach your destination.

Shopping

Usk town centre has a lovely selection of independent shops, tea rooms and antique dealers, whilst larger Monmouth offers a mix of established high street shops, as well as more traditional boutiques.  Monmouth has a Waitrose supermarket in the centre and an M&S foodhall.
