The towns of Monmouth and Usk offer a great selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes.
Our favourites in the Monmouth area include The Crown at Whitebrook, a Michelin-starred marvel with chef James Sommerin offering a modern, British menu with French influences . The Stonemill at Raglan also has an excellent reputation and offers great food in a beautifully restored building.
Not to be outdone, Usk has La Cantina, a quirky restaurant in the centre of town with a lovely garden for the summer months and The Black Bear Inn in the little village of Bettws Newydd has a great reputation and a lovely, traditional feel.
