Monmouth and Usk

Visit these two picturesque, Georgian towns, nestled in the Wye Valley alongside the River Usk and you’ll find this region is very accessible.  Usk is less than 10 miles from the M4 at Newport, with Monmouth just 15 minutes further north, and as such the area provides a great base for exploring the Wye Valley and beyond.

Monmouth and Usk have no shortage of local attractions either, both boasting beautiful castles, historical sites and fantastic restaurants to discover.  This is also a particularly good region for golf and fishing enthusiasts.
