Builth Wells boasts a very rare postbox, one of very few across the UK that bear the cypher of King Edward VIII, the uncrowned king who renounced the throne in favour of marrying the divorcee Wallis Simpson.

Gilfach Longhouse and nature Reserve, a short drive away makes an excellent day out. Open all year round, visitors will enjoy discovering the nature trails and spotting wildlife amongst the beautiful scenery.
