Good coach and bus services are based from the large bus station near the centre of town. For up to date information, have a look at Traveline Cymru. There are also plenty of local taxi firms that will be happy to help you reach your destination.   The nearest train station is Abergavenny, 18 miles away.

Shopping

Brecon has a wide range of high street and independent shops.  Market’s are held on Tuesday and Friday and are well worth exploring. There are also several supermarkets including Morrisons, Somerfield and Co-op.
