As one of the larger towns in the National Park, Brecon has lots to offer visitors whatever the weather.

Theatr Brycheiniog occupies a lovely spot at the canal basin in the town.  It has an art gallery and restaurant and offers a wide variety of shows all year round.

Coliseum Cinema is also in Brecon centre and has 2 screens.

Brecon Leisure Centre is an excellent facility with 2 swimming pools, 10-pin bowling, squash and tennis courts, and a large gym.
