Located where the rivers Usk and Honddu meet in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Brecon is a charming market town, regarded as one of the most historic locations in Wales.

Easily accessible from the M4 and M5 motorways, Brecon is famed for its ancient cathedral, Georgian architecture, castle ruins and annual Jazz Festival. It also boasts some of the best views of the famous Brecon Beacons.

Libanus - Visit the National Park’s Mountain Centre. A great start point for planning walks and exploring the natural geology, history and scenery of the area. Experts will help you identify the best routes for you and the excellent restaurant will help boast your energy levels before your excursions.

Talybont-on-Usk - This picturesque village offers great access to the Taff Trail cycle route, wonderful walks along the Brecon to Monmouthshire canal and the scenic reservoir and waterfalls to explore.

Cantref - A village set amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery in the park, families head for the Cantref Adventure Farm with its large indoor play area, petting farm, riding centre and cafe
