| Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest town in Britain with a population of about 600 people. This Spa Town was built upon the fame of the sulphur spring, which was discovered in 1732 with its curative powers. Now it is still very popular with visitors particularly if you are attracted to outdoor activities.
Dolecoed Road leads up the Abergwesyn Valley and the Devil's Staircase. There are numerous Festivals held in the town from the famous Man versus Horse to the globally televised Bog Snorkelling Championships!
