Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest town in Britain with a population of about 600 people. This Spa Town was built upon the fame of the sulphur spring, which was discovered in 1732 with its curative powers. There are numerous Festivals held in the town from the famous Man versus Horse race, to the globally televised Bog Snorkelling Championships! Ideal location for the Royal Welsh Show, or for visiting MID WALES.   Llanwrtyd Wells also boasts a railway station, which is part of the Heart of Wales Line.
